Advocates in India are governed by the Advocates Act, 1961 and by the Bar Council of India Rules. Rule 36 in Section IV, Chapter II of Part VI of those Rules provides that an advocate shall not solicit work or advertise, whether directly or indirectly, whether by circulars, advertisements, touts, personal communications, interviews not warranted by personal relations, furnishing or inspiring newspaper comments, or producing photographs to be published in connection with cases in which the advocate has been engaged or concerned.
A proviso added to Rule 36 permits an advocate to furnish, on a website, only the limited factual particulars approved by the Bar Council of India — broadly the advocate's name, address, telephone number and email address, enrolment number and the State Bar Council of enrolment, professional and academic qualifications, and areas of practice. Publishing anything beyond those approved particulars can amount to professional misconduct under Section 35 of the Advocates Act, 1961.
This website has been built to stay within that boundary. It describes a documentation and ceremony-coordination service, not the practice of law. The work we do ourselves is administrative and coordinating in nature — explaining what a process requires, arranging the Arya Samaj ceremony and the pandit, preparing and typing forms, collecting and checking documents against the office checklist, arranging appointments, paying prescribed government fees on your instructions, following up on an application, and keeping you informed of its progress.
Where a matter requires legal advice, legal drafting that calls for an advocate's professional judgement, an opinion on your rights, or appearance before a court, tribunal or authority, that work is done by an independent advocate enrolled with a State Bar Council, in that advocate's own name and on that advocate's own responsibility. A lawyer-client relationship arises only when an advocate, in their own name, expressly accepts your matter after considering it and after satisfying themselves that there is no conflict of interest. Until that has happened, please do not send us or any advocate anything that you regard as confidential or privileged.
Any advocate who works on a matter arising from this website is an independent professional. Advocates are not our employees, partners, agents or representatives, and we are not theirs. We do not control, direct or supervise the professional work they do. Each advocate is solely responsible for the advice they give, the manner in which they conduct a matter, the fee they charge and their compliance with the Advocates Act, 1961 and the Bar Council of India Rules.
We do not share, and will not share, any part of an advocate's professional fee. Any amount you pay an advocate for legal advice or representation is payable to that advocate directly, in that advocate's own name. A complaint about an advocate's professional conduct lies to the State Bar Council with which that advocate is enrolled; the Bar Council of India is the appellate authority.
This website carries no star ratings of advocates, no scores, no leaderboards, no "top lawyer" lists and no comparison between advocates. Nothing here is a recommendation to engage or consult any particular advocate. Where a matter is passed to an advocate whose stated area of practice matches its subject, that is an administrative routing step, not a recommendation, and the choice of advocate always remains yours.

Prices shown on this website, including on the Fees page, are indicative starting prices for our own ceremony-coordination and documentation work. Unless a page expressly says otherwise for a particular package, they are exclusive of government fees, registration and notice fees, stamp paper, notary charges, photographs, courier, travel and any statutory tax.
The final amount depends on what your route and your circumstances actually require, and we confirm one written figure to you before work begins. Government charges are paid at the rate the office actually charges on the day and are accounted for to you with a receipt. Full detail is in our Terms & Conditions.
An Arya Samaj ceremony is a religious solemnisation performed by a pandit according to Vedic rites. The Arya Marriage Validation Act, 1937 recognises the validity of a marriage solemnised in that form between persons professing the Arya Samaj faith. The certificate the mandir issues is a record of that ceremony issued by the mandir — it is not a certificate issued by a government office.
A marriage certificate in the legal sense is issued by the Registrar of Marriages or the SDM, after registration under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, the Special Marriage Act, 1954, or the relevant state rules, including the Delhi (Compulsory Registration of Marriage) Order, 2014. That is the document banks, passport offices, embassies and courts ask for.
Our service normally covers both steps, but they remain legally distinct, they are governed by different Acts, and they produce different documents. Anything on this website describing one should not be read as describing the other.
