Effective from: 23 September 2026 | Last updated: 23 September 2026 | Applies to: This website and every service booked through it.
💡 Please tell us first. Most problems are solved the same day by a phone call. Nothing on this page takes away your right to go straight to a court, a consumer commission or a regulator — but giving us a chance is usually faster, and it costs you nothing at all.
1. Our promise and timelines
| What we promise | Time |
| We acknowledge your complaint, with a reference number | Within 24 hours |
| We tell you who is handling it and what we are doing | Within 3 working days |
| We resolve it and tell you the outcome in writing | Within 15 days |
| A request to exercise a right under the DPDP Act, 2023 | Within 90 days |
| A refund request decision | Within 7 working days |
These timelines follow Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Complaining costs nothing, you do not need a lawyer to do it, and you do not need any particular format.
2. How to complain — what to include
There is no form to fill and no format to follow. Write to us in English or Hindi, whichever is easier, and tell us:
- Who you are — your name and the phone number or email address we have on file for you;
- Which matter — your booking reference, receipt number, or simply the date you first contacted us;
- What went wrong — in your own words, with dates if you have them;
- What you want — a correction, a refund, an explanation, erasure of your data, or something else; and
- Anything that helps — a screenshot, a receipt, a copy of a message.
✍️ Please put it in writing where you can. A written complaint gives us a record, lets us track the timelines above, and means that you have proof of what you asked for and when. A WhatsApp message counts as writing.
3. What happens after you complain
- Acknowledgement (within 24 hours). You get a reply confirming we have your complaint, with a reference number to quote.
- Assignment (within 3 working days). The Grievance Officer looks at the file, speaks to the team member concerned, and tells you who is handling it.
- Investigation. We look at the booking record, the messages, the receipts and, where relevant, the government office's record. We may come back to you with a question — that usually means we are checking something properly, not stalling.
- Outcome (within 15 days). You get a written answer telling you what we found, what we are doing about it, and — if we got it wrong — how we are putting it right.
- Escalation. If our answer does not satisfy you, we tell you in that same letter exactly where you can take it next, with the address. We do not leave you to find it yourself.
4. What we can decide, and what we cannot
| We can decide | We cannot decide |
A mistake in a document we prepared
A delay caused by us
A refund of our own service charge
How we handled your personal data
The conduct of our staff
The content or accuracy of anything on this website
|
A decision of a court, an SDM office or a Marriage Officer
The professional conduct of an independent advocate — that is for the Bar Council
The legal advice an advocate gave you
A fee you paid directly to an advocate
A payment gateway or bank dispute — but we will help you pursue it
|
Where a complaint falls outside what we can decide, we do not simply refuse it. We tell you who does decide it, we give you the address, and we hand you whatever record we hold that helps you make your case there.
5. Data protection complaints
If your complaint is about your personal data — how it was collected, used, shared, kept or erased, or a request to exercise a right — write to the Grievance Officer, who is also the point of contact for personal data under Section 13 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We answer a rights request within 90 days, and usually much sooner. There is no charge for exercising any right.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act, 2023. The Board ordinarily expects you to have approached the Data Fiduciary first and to have given it a chance to answer, so please complete the step above before you go to the Board. Details of how to file are published by the Board and by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology at meity.gov.in. What we collect and why is set out in our Privacy Policy.
6. Consumer complaints
If your complaint is about the service or the money, and our answer has not satisfied you, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 gives you these routes:
| Where | How |
| National Consumer Helpline | Call 1915, use the NCH app, or go to consumerhelpline.gov.in. Free. |
| Consumer Commission (online) | File at e-daakhil.nic.in. |
| Consumer Commission (in person) | The District, State or National Commission having jurisdiction where you reside or work, or where we carry on business. |
You may approach a consumer forum where you live. You do not have to come to Delhi to complain about us, and nothing in our Terms & Conditions can take that right away.
7. Complaints about an advocate
Any advocate who works on a matter arising from this website is an independent professional. Their professional conduct is regulated by the Bar Councils, not by us.
- If the problem is ours — a request that was not passed on, a wrong particular published, a coordination failure — tell us. That is ours to fix, and we will.
- If the problem is professional misconduct — the advice given, the fee charged, the conduct of a case, or a failure to act — a complaint lies under Section 35 of the Advocates Act, 1961 to the State Bar Council with which that advocate is enrolled. The Bar Council of India is the appellate authority.
Please tell us as well, so that we can review whether we should continue to work with that advocate while the complaint is decided.
8. Reporting unlawful content on this website
If you find anything on this website that is unlawful, that infringes your rights, or that breaches the prohibited-content list in Section 12 of our Terms & Conditions, tell the Grievance Officer with the exact page address and a short explanation of what is wrong.
We act within the time the IT Rules, 2021 prescribe — including removing or disabling access within 36 hours of a lawful court order or government notification, and within 24 hours of a valid complaint about content that is obscene or is an impersonation in electronic form. If you believe material on this website infringes your copyright or trademark, write to the same address with proof of your right, identification of the material and a statement that the use is not authorised.
9. If somebody is committing fraud in our name
⚠️ We will never ask you for an OTP, a UPI PIN, a card PIN, a CVV or a net banking password. We will never ask you to install a screen-sharing or remote-access app. We will never ask you to approve a "request" on a payment app in order to receive money. If anybody does any of these in our name, it is fraud.
If it happens, stop immediately, share nothing further, and tell us on +91 8376863962 so that we can act. Report it also on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in or on the cyber crime helpline 1930. If money has already gone, report it within the first hour if you can — that is when it is most likely to be stopped.
We would also like to know if somebody is using our name, our phone number or our photographs on another website or a social media page. Send us the link and we will act on it.

Questions and Answers About Complaints
How quickly will you reply to my complaint?▼
We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours with a reference number. Within 3 working days we tell you who is handling it and what we are doing. We resolve it and give you a written outcome within 15 days. A request to exercise a right under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 is answered within 90 days, and a refund request is decided within 7 working days. These timelines follow Rule 3(2) of the IT Rules, 2021.
Do I need a lawyer to complain?▼
No. Complaining costs nothing and needs no lawyer, no format and no stamp paper. Write in English or Hindi, whichever is easier for you. Just tell us who you are, which booking it concerns, what went wrong and what you want done about it. A message on WhatsApp is enough to start it.
Can I complain about something that is not my own booking?▼
Yes. If you find anything on this website that is unlawful, that infringes your rights, that is inaccurate, or that breaches the prohibited-content list in our Terms, tell the Grievance Officer with the exact page address and a short explanation. You do not have to be a client to raise that.
What can you not decide?▼
We cannot overturn a decision of a court, an SDM office or a Marriage Officer; we cannot decide the professional conduct of an independent advocate, which is for the State Bar Council under Section 35 of the Advocates Act, 1961; and we cannot decide a payment gateway or bank dispute, although we will help you pursue it and give you every record we hold. Where a complaint falls outside what we can decide, we do not simply refuse it — we tell you who does decide it and give you the address.
My complaint is about my personal data. Where does it go?▼
To the same Grievance Officer, who is also the point of contact for personal data under Section 13 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. A request to access, correct or erase your data, or to withdraw a consent, is answered within 90 days and usually much sooner. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India — the Board ordinarily expects you to have approached us first.
What if I am not satisfied with your final answer?▼
You keep every right the law gives you. For a service or money complaint, call the National Consumer Helpline on 1915, file online at e-daakhil.nic.in, or approach the District, State or National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission having jurisdiction where you reside or work — you may complain where you live, not where we are. For a data complaint, the Data Protection Board of India. We will tell you the correct address in our written answer.
Somebody is using your name to cheat people. What should I do?▼
Tell us at once on +91 8376863962 so that we can act, and report it on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in or on the helpline 1930. We will never ask you for an OTP, a UPI PIN, a card PIN, a CVV or a net banking password, and we will never ask you to install a screen-sharing app or to approve a payment request in order to receive money. Anybody who does any of that in our name is committing a fraud.
Will complaining affect my ongoing work?▼
No. Your matter continues exactly as it was while the complaint is looked at, and the Grievance Officer is independent of the person who handled it. Nobody's work slows down because a complaint was raised — if anything, it usually gets faster, because somebody senior is now watching the file.
